Bill began studying keyboards at age 12 and taught himself to play guitar at age 14.  He was performing in his first band, at age 15, doing private parties and teaching keyboards and guitar by age 16.

He attended the Temple University School of Music, studying under, Harvey Weeden, as a piano major.  He also learned Brass/Woodwinds, Drums, Orchestration, Vocal techniques and more during that time period.

"Earthrise" did several major concert dates in the next few years, before going into the studio to record the original "Earthrise" album in 1978. The album sold out almost immediately, except for a few, now rare copies.

Since that time, Bill performed with several local bands, working full time inbillbobb.jpg (10343 bytes) the Philadelphia area.  He worked with his wife, Bobbi, as a duo for about 15 years, spending about 3 years at the casinos in Atlantic City.  During this time, he occasionally performed as a single act, while Bobbi was busy having kids.

In 1996, Bill joined his wife as co-owner of their own electronics service business.  Bill now works on enviromental equipment for major pharmaceutical companies, while spending his free time composing music on his computer for his own pleasure.

The "Earthrise" reunion and new project is as Bill states, "a dream whose time has come".
